Honorable Mention Vernon Gholston

9. Gerard Warren, DT, Florida - 3rd overall, Cleveland 2001

I'm wondering what if there is a doubts about the inclusion Warren. After all, he played in Madden NFL 24 from 2001 until 2011 for his team of the Browns, Broncos, Raiders and Patriots. Courtney Brown's teammate on at least The Browns and the Broncos, Warren was supposed to lead Cleveland into an exciting new time with energy and vigor , due to having an overall top three selection for three straight season.

With Tim Couch, Brown, and Warren, they would soon ignore that the Ravens have won that Super Bowl in 2000. Right? It's just Cleveland.

Even though Couch Brown and Brown were mostly poor players Warren is merely a disappointment who was taken over by great players at a time that Cleveland had to finally get one thing right. They weren't. Warren was able to put together a couple of great seasons at the center on the line defense, putting up more than 150 tackles in total, 16.5 sacks, nine pass deflections as well as seven forced fumbles within two seasons in the Browns. Very impressive, indeed but take a look at the circumstances of the Madden NFL 24 Draft.

Warren was modeled on Michael Vick and Leonard Davis, two players who combined to make seven Pro Bowl appearances. (Though Davis has an argument that he is a failure in his own way.) It was Warren. Then came four-time Pro Bowl, All-Pro Justin Smith. Following that, five-time Pro Bowl, three-time All-Pro running back LaDainian Tomlinson. In the next round, seven-time Pro Bowl, three-time All-Pro Richard Seymour. The next pick, Andre Carter, made one Pro Bowl and has 78.5 lifetime sacks.

The biggest issue with Warren could be the shady organization he maintains at the very top of the list but it's just to demonstrate how awful the Browns are at creating. He's sandwiched between six players who have made it to a Pro Bowl. What could be more problematic is that the Browns future pick the wide receiver Quincy Morgan, is also located between six players that were in the Pro Bowl. (Reggie Wayne, Todd Heap, Drew Brees, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Alge Crumpler, Chad Johnson.)

Brown, Warren, Couch, and Morgan are just four examples of how the Browns have been so terrible for quite a long time. They were terrible talent assessors that picked the wrong players. However, on the bright part, they were able to identify two players to start this list.

Cleveland is awesome!

Honorable Mention: This is how we can accommodate Leonard Davis. A pick in front of Warren you might not expect to get guards however, that's exactly the situation with Arizona in addition to Davis. Davis was a six-year player for the Cardinals who shifted around the lineup from right guard to an unimpressive left tackle, then leaving and becoming an Pro Bowl guard with the Cowboys. Davis gets to have an excellent career yet is just another black mark on the front of Cardinals draft the past.

8. Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville - 10th overall, Houston, 2007

I want to start off by saying that Okoye's always been an Madden 24 coins exceptional player. There are certain things that will be memorable to me when I think of draft day, memories that last forever and ensure that I'll stick with certain players whom I have no actual attachments to Okoye, who will always be among those players.

There was a lot made about the idea that Okoye, 19. was to be the youngest first-round selection ever. He picked Louisville at the age of 15 and decided to turn down Harvard to make the choice. He played college football when he was just 16. He was a student at the time of his graduation. He was a second-team All-American at 19. He had a great head on his shoulders and was an outstanding athletic for his age and the prospect of what he could become was an overwhelming thought. However, at some time, is it too much to emphasize what a player could be in comparison to what he is? Could Okoye have been better off in the third round as an experiment mut 24 madden coins to be able to play regularly at the age of 23 or 24. instead of 20?
