There are four ways to play D2R Items, such as standard and hardcore versions of expansion content and non-expansion. It will give players who prefer the first four actions to race against other players in softcore and hardcore modes, and the more well-known expansion modes that the majority of us love, along with all five acts.

A new set of runewords and Horadric Cube recipes, modifications to class skills adjustments to mercenaries exclusive items, and much more will be available with the first season of ladder play. The majority of this content will be only available to those who join ladder play.

The Diablo 2: Resurrected team said it was looking at a four-month period to build the initial ladder, however, this is subject to change. While the PTR was limited to PC only, Diablo 2: Resurrected's ladder rank feature will be available on consoles too.
