The battle against Martanos isn't a particularly tough D2R Items challenge compared to some of the other DLC Immortal bosses. His health pool is astonishingly massive, but provided you've got some help from a couple of other players, you can take the boss down with basic attack and defensive strategies. It's even possible to eliminate him if you're powerful enough (though it's usually not an issue and will likely take an extended time).

While Lord Maranos might drop random rewards, the thing that you're interested in is the one he's guaranteed to drop one of his Zakarum Sigils. Why is this drop so crucial? They assist in making the fight for the Ancient Nightmare just a touch more manageable.

To begin, be aware you can only find the Ancient Nightmare can only be discovered on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10:00 pm (local Server time). If you're trying to look for the boss at any other time you'll be very disappointed by the things you don't discover.

If you're playing Diablo Immortal at the right time and date However, head for your Misty Valley area of Mount Zavain. The Ancient Nightmare patrols the region around that Misty Valley Waypoint. If you're within the general area, you should receive an alert telling you there's a boss in the area and you'll be able to automatically navigate to the area.
